The device has been leaked by eXpansys UK and it will cost $1,010. The phone will be released on January 11, 2010 so if you want a brand new, unlocked Sony Ericsson phone and you’re ready to pay all that cash for it then eXpansys UK is the way to go. Should we assume that the X2 will be overpriced even when purchased with a new contract? It’s only a Windows Mobile phone after all, and there are other phones out there that are definitely more popular and a lot cheaper. Will the X2 be a success or should we wait for Sony Ericsson to launch its first Android smartphones?
